Well, it's that time of year again. The time where we give out the awards, promote youth to the next class, and gear up once again for another year of Sunday School.
This year at Salem, while many things will remain the same, some others will change. The Youth and Adult Sunday School classes that have been offered in the past will continue to be offered. However, we will be starting a new class called Connect: Where Life and Truth Intersect. This class will be an opportunity to discuss real life situations in the light of scripture. Issues such as Forgiveness and Trust, Family and Balance, Standing and Serving among others.
What makes this class different is what is found out here. There will be blog entries each week for this class. They will be an opportunity to catch up in case you missed a week and they will be an opportunity to continue our discussion. Many times 11:00 comes quickly and our discussion must end prematurely....this blog is an opportunity to continue our discussion beyond Sunday morning.
I hope this class can provide some insight into various areas of your life in light of Scripture. I also hope that we can learn from one another and how God has worked in our lives.
